This is Martin Schroeter, IBM’s CFO. I can only wonder what his thoughts are when someone calls and says: “Jimmy Cramer wants to do an interview with you for his award winning TV show, Mad Money.” There is absolutely no intellectual nexus here. Cramer says he’s on TV to entertain and educate us. Great.
I always wonder: if an investment advisor came at you with the Jimmy Cramer TV antics; would you really let him manage your money? Isn’t that what people are effectively doing when they buy his TV BS? Something seems crazy.
It would be much cooler to watch Jimmy fire a shoutgun at a scarecrow, catch a fish with a bamboo fishing pole or dye his hair and goat-tee.
National Realism Week could start right here. With Mad Money.
“Don’t come around here trying to sell crazy; we’re all stocked up.”
Sheesh.
