These old Neuman mics just kill sonically but can be massive pains-in-the-ass. Yes. I said ‘pains’ plural. I bought these 15 years ago – they’re 1960 models. These came from Columbia Studios in NYC and were used on some of the Miles Davis recording sessions. Not bad legacy.

It’s a Bigsby. In need of a little arm adjustment. Something that seemed like a simple fix, is actually a small engineering feat. The guys at Bigsby were incredibly kind in helping to solve. Long live Bigsby.
