I’m watching the the sun rise. Dawn. And it’s spectacular. Every time I see a sun rise — I automatically think of the wording ‘the rosy finger of dawn.’ Whose origins are from either the Iliad or the Odyssey — can’t recall and not sure that its entirely relevant. If you read the words in absence of context — they sound screwy. If you’re actually witnessing it — it’s different — the wording seems so incredibly accurate. Interesting, the way that works.
Writers are people for whom writing is difficult.
Amen.
