These reminded me of Nepalese Prayer Flags. The Nepalese sherpas and sherpanis would fly these for good luck when they were about to climb Everest. Or if they were going shopping at the Polo Shop in Dallas in the mid-80’s.

More coverage/notes. I’m happy that the script is pulling people in by page 7. It’s a very complicated screenplay — so keeping it on the tracks is a challenge. As is making sure the movie that’s playing in my head is playing the same way in every reader’s head.
