I stopped by Collings Guitars in Austin, TX last week. (Actually they’re not REALLY in Austin proper, but don’t tell anyone). This is an OM1 that’s under construction. It’s an Adirondack top with ‘flamed’ mahogany sides and back. The neck is unbound ebony and has a really simple inlay design at the 5th, 7th and 9th frets. These guys are artists.
