This was too cool not to post. Tony Gilroy is aces on a number of dimensions in my book. Killer screenwriter. Killer director. This is Tony’s BAFTA lecture from 2012. (I think). It’s full of great thoughts by a guy that has put into practise those same great thoughts.
I was sent one of Charlie Kaufman at BAFTA that I’ll try to post. Kaufman is such a cool guy to listen to and not necessarily just about screenwriting. About life. And isn’t that what screenplays are ultimately about? Good screenplays, that is.
