This was a great trip. The Perot Museum is world class — so was the storm that blew in at 8:30PM that night. Much better to watch from inside the confines of the Perot building. In my opinion, the architecture at the Perot is much better than the Gehry buildings that I’ve been in in LA and around. The thing to me about Gehry is — the exteriors are really beautiful but the interior space is pretty cut-up and ultimately crap. I suppose that’s the trade off in hiring Gehry. The Perot makes some references to Gehry but the interior spaces are much more usable and less weird.
