This was another, sort of, crazy weekend. In, what seems to be, an endless series of crazy but charming, none-the-less, weekends. We flew out for an small independent film opening on Thursday night and then proceeded south to shoot an eight hour film scene before heading back early Saturday morning. I’ve been fashioning my own hand held camera rig out of parts… I think that I’ve found an optimal solution for situations that only require couple hours of filming. Otherwise, it’s to a shoulder mount — which I have, but just can not get cozy with. Allez.
Firefly. 12 May 2013.
We’ve had big storms down here all weekend. Prior to the storms — the sky was virtually lit by firefly’s. Really beautiful and whimsical. I found one parked on the door this morning. The lightening must have jiggled with it’s navigational circuitry.
