I have difficulty believing that what is achieved here is remotely related to “the truth.” If you grabbed an unmanipulated street photo and came up with this photo; fine. But since everything within the photographs’ frame is being manipulated: from the subject to her boots and make-up — it’s more like “marketing” and less like what it claims to be.

It’s perceptual mapping.

We all know that the truth doesn’t have versions. This does go a long way in explaining: how we got to where we are today. More of an emotional viewpoint, than an intellectual one.
