We had a scare on Monday evening. One of the dogs was bitten pretty badly by a rattlesnake. Those things really wreak havoc. All’s well now thanks to some uber competent docs in Austin and antivenin. Picked her up yesterday and she’s totally on the mend. Very tough stock, that girl. When they say that ‘timing is everything’, it couldn’t be more true under these circumstances. I really do think it was a matter of life or death. The other bit is from a doco that I’m working on. Oddly, about science. Cause and effect came together very late Monday evening. I just made it back from LA and Carmel and oddly, in Brentwood and Napa, it’s not uncommon to find rattlesnakes…
