Last night. These guys were hailed as the new direction of Austin music. They weren’t bad. I guess. More interesting was the re-purposing of acoustic instruments sonically.
A friend of mine said that ‘we were doomed’ when I told him that these guys represented the a/new musical direction.
He’s probably right. But let them eat cake. You hear that more and more frequently on the streets of Paris.
