I stopped by a wedding party in Austin today. The girl that performed the ceremony received her ceremonial certification online. Someone was saying that the certificate would allow her to perform this or that type of ceremony. To which, I said: ‘Can she make people disappear?’ She thought for a moment and said: ‘you mean, cast out Devils?’ And I said: ‘Yes.. That’s it… Cast out Devils…’ She never verified if that was within her oeuvre, but I liked the idea. Who wouldn’t? I told her , ultimately, maybe it didn’t matter; ‘Casting out Devils’ would make great title for a film or painting…
