There’s a tie up here. But I won’t give away the ending.

It was a good night editing. Sometimes it’s incredibly daunting to get the process of editing started — you tend to want to dawdle for the first hour. Starting out always seems like the scene in ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’, when the apes start touching the monolith. Sooner or later, apes or no apes, you have to do something else… It is an awful lot of information to juggle and it’s a very cognitive deal. But if you can move a minute of footage that hooks up contextually and cinematically… then all you have to do is find the next something else to hang that on to.

A reaction.

Better. A chain reaction.

Just like cooking…
