I met Ruth and Richard Rogers with Nori Starck and friends in Venice a few years ago. We bumped into the Rogers near Harry’s Bar and they later stopped by where we were staying. They had been to the pallazo where “The Merchant of Venice (2004)’ was filmed; the brilliantly directed and acted film by Michael Radford. There was a great article on Lord Rogers in this FTWeekend — thus the heads up. Both were super engaging and super charming. Ruth owns River Cafe (The River Café is located at Thames Wharf Studios on the River Thames). Don’t miss it.
