This just came in out here… I finished that film in 2009. It went into the 2009-2010 film festival circuit. It’s very gratifying when someone sees it and responds to it. The next film will be a lot more complex and infinitely more difficult to explain. A friend joked that all my films need subtitling. Ah. Just what you want to hear. But let’s keep pushing, Persephone, shall we?
Totally off the mark here, but I’m thinking about hopping over to a bookstore to pick up the book on ‘Whitey Bolger’. Not sure why, other than I thought I might be able to glean a few things from it for my scripts antagonist. After all, the character that Nicholson played in The Departed was based on Bolger.
