We saw Argo tonight and came away thinking it was pretty flat. The first third of the story was great largely because of Mssrs Arkin and Goodman. Everything seemed to fall off a cliff once we left the Hollywood location. The Town was great, this wasn’t. We saw Silver Linings Playbook. The film makers really pushed the audience to their saturation limits in the first half, but they really pulled everyone back in for the second half of the film. Silver Linings seemed more like filmmaking than Argo

Cheers
