Normandy. 6 Jun 2014.
This was done in Normandy today by two Brit artists and 500 French locals. I think that it was up for 5 heures. The tide came in and washed it away. Before that happened, they stenciled 9,000 body shapes.

These old Neuman mics just kill sonically but can be massive pains-in-the-ass. Yes. I said ‘pains’ plural. I bought these 15 years ago – they’re 1960 models. These came from Columbia Studios in NYC and were used on some of the Miles Davis recording sessions. Not bad legacy.

It’s a Bigsby. In need of a little arm adjustment. Something that seemed like a simple fix, is actually a small engineering feat. The guys at Bigsby were incredibly kind in helping to solve. Long live Bigsby.

We stayed at a friends house in Cabo. Incredible views from the fourth floor. All of it fed, incredibly, into the two projects that we were/are working on.
