B. 19 Dec 2016.

I watched Robert Bresson’s “Au Hasard Balthazar” tonight. I’d never heard the film mentioned. I was out of town and saw it in a used film bin. It’s a very besutifully shot and angularly told film about a donkey that changes hands in France. Numerous parallels — all interpretable. I highly recommend.
