I rec’d this from a friend that’s on the Dallas Film Society Board. She read the first 40 pages of a screenplay that I’ve been working on and, evidently, liked it. It’s very gratifying getting responses like these. There are a lot of evenings and weekends rolled up into writing one of these things. I’d really like to thank everyone on the SMU Meadows School Board that has helped — they have been terrifically supportive and helpful from a resource standpoint. I was in LA a couple weekends ago and am still picking buckshot out of my arse but some of the suggestions made then, make sense now. Plus, they seem to think there’s a film here…
