Nathalie Motizet, a Paris Mayoral candidate, has proposed this as an adaptive re-use for disused Metro stations. A very beautiful re-imagining of those no longer utilized spaces. Hope that they’re funded.

A friend’s brother, Robert Edsel, wrote this book a few years ago — it was the basis for the new film ‘Monuments Men.’ Super nice guys. I was talking to a friend in NYC a minute ago, she was describing a friend of hers that had just gotten married. She described the marriage as ‘she caught the last branch on the tree before hitting the ground.’ Is it just me or was that a bargain?
