Flew out for a shoot a couple of weeks ago and it looks like we’re on for more. The cuts look good and the narrative is well in place. Better than a sharp stick in the eye.
I was grousing about the back and forth of email — a friend in BOS said try Siri. Siri’s okay, but on the plane ride out to CA we were goofing with it. It’s not difficult to confuse it. We were all laughing — seeing how it interpreted slightly skewed questions… It would have been a real anathema for a literal person. I always wonder how literalista’s would interpret the Fauves? Picasso? Like living in Purgatory.
I keep hearing that the Zeiss CP.2 50m Super Speed T1.5’s have breathing issues. I TRIED to make mine breathe yesterday; TRIED and it just was NOT happening. Maybe I lucked out on a batch and someone else didn’t. But my mantra is these are vibey lenses that really make incredibly beautiful images. I love ’em. Wish Zeiss would make a pair of spectacles with these lenses installed for daily wear. Talk about rose colored…
